St Mirren Bolsters Defense with Jamaica International Richard King
St Mirren secures Jamaica international Richard King on a two-year deal, enhancing their defense with his speed and strength.

St Mirren has officially announced the signing of Jamaica international defender Richard King on a two-year contract, with an option for an additional year. The 23-year-old joins from Cavalier in Jamaica, pending medical and visa approvals.
King, who has made 30 international appearances for Jamaica, is expected to bring a new level of agility and robustness to St Mirren's backline. Manager Stephen Robinson expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition, stating that the club has been closely monitoring King's development over the years.
"We've tracked Richard for a long time and kept up with his progress. He has progressed really well under Steve McClaren and the Jamaican national team," Robinson said. "He's quick, he's strong, and he's a project for us as well as it's a step up in level."
This summer, St Mirren has been active in the transfer market, also securing Roland Idowu and Killian Phillips from Shrewsbury Town and Crystal Palace, respectively, following their loan spells.
With these strategic additions, St Mirren aims to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season, focusing on building a competitive team that can challenge for higher honors.
