Rangers Boost Squad with Key Loan Deals and Transfers Ahead of New Season

Rangers are strengthening their squad with strategic loan deals and potential transfers, including Max Aarons and Conor Coady, as they prepare for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season.

Rangers are making significant moves in the transfer market as they aim to bolster their squad for the upcoming Scottish Premiership season. Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons is currently in Glasgow finalising his loan move to Rangers after completing his medical. This deal, however, does not include an obligation for Rangers to purchase the 25-year-old Englishman permanently.

In addition to Aarons, Rangers are preparing to make an offer for Liverpool left-back Owen Beck. Despite preliminary talks between Liverpool and Beck regarding a new contract, Rangers are keen on securing a permanent transfer for the 22-year-old Welshman.

Leicester City centre-half Conor Coady is also eager to join Rangers. The 32-year-old is set to travel to Glasgow to finalise his transfer, with a reduced fee expected to cover the remaining year of his contract.

Other notable transfer activities include Kwame Poku, who is poised to have a medical with Queens Park Rangers after the Championship club agreed on a compensation fee with Peterborough United. Rangers had hoped to sign the 23-year-old Ghanaian winger for free when his contract expires at the end of June.

AEK Athens are finalising a fresh move for Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers after having a £4.5m offer rejected. Rangers have also initiated contract renewal discussions with midfielder Nico Raskin to prevent him from joining Aston Villa.

Further developments include Rangers giving the green light to the transfer of 24-year-old Wales winger Rabbi Matondo to Super Lig club Gaziantep. These strategic moves highlight Rangers' commitment to strengthening their squad for the challenges ahead in the Scottish Premiership.
