According to data from Transfermarkt, Premier League clubs have already spent a staggering £2.26bn on new players since the window opened in June. This represents a 12.7% increase over the £1.97bn spent during the summer of 2024. The current record, set during the 2023 summer transfer window, stands at £2.36bn.
