Arsenal Elevates Women's Football: All WSL Home Games at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal announces all Women's Super League home games will be played at Emirates Stadium in the 2025-26 season, marking a significant step for women's football.

Arsenal's Commitment to Women's Football

Arsenal Football Club has announced that all 11 of their Women's Super League (WSL) home matches will be staged at Emirates Stadium for the 2025-26 season. This decision underscores the club's dedication to advancing women's football and providing a world-class experience for players and fans alike.

Record-Breaking Attendance

Last season, Arsenal hosted nine WSL games at Emirates Stadium, attracting an average attendance of 34,110. The highest attendance was recorded in February, with 56,748 fans cheering against Tottenham. The club sold over 415,000 tickets in the 2024-25 season, marking a 20% increase from the previous campaign.

Champions League and Domestic Cup Games

While the WSL games will be held at Emirates Stadium, Arsenal's Women's Champions League matches will commence at Meadow Park, their traditional home. Should the team progress to the knockout stages, these matches will also be moved to Emirates Stadium. Domestic cup home games will continue to be played at Meadow Park.

Season Tickets and Fan Support

For the first time, Arsenal will introduce season tickets for the women's team at Emirates Stadium. The Arsenal Women Supporters' Club expressed their delight, stating, "This allows more people than ever to experience a WSL matchday and help Arsenal build on the success achieved in Lisbon."

A Step Towards Football Equality

Arsenal's move to host all WSL games at Emirates Stadium is seen as a significant step towards football equality. The club aims to cement its image as a driving force in promoting women's football and attracting top talent by providing a big stadium atmosphere.

Avoiding Fixture Clashes

Discussions with the Premier League and WSL Football have been ongoing to avoid fixture clashes. In case of conflicts, neither the men's nor women's team will have automatic priority. Instead, decisions will be made based on the specific needs of the fixture, considering factors like broadcast schedules and security.

Future Prospects

With the full transition of WSL games to Emirates Stadium, Arsenal hopes to further elevate the profile of women's football. The club's commitment to providing a premier venue for WSL matches reflects their broader vision of equality and excellence in football.
