France overcame a determined Welsh side in Brive. Emilie Boulard crossed twice, and Manon Bigot scored just before half-time. Wales fought back with tries from Kate Williams and Gwen Crabb, but France's class prevailed with efforts from Manae Feleu, Lea Champon, and a penalty try.
