Burnley midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has accused Preston North End forward Milutin Osmajic of racial abuse during their Championship match on Saturday. The incident occurred at Deepdale, where the match ended in a goalless draw.

Hannibal, who joined Burnley from Manchester United in August 2024, expressed his outrage on Instagram: "I will not be silent about what happened today. I will always call out racism whenever I hear or see it. That is the only way we change as a sport and a society.
