Brad Marchand's Epic Stanley Cup Victory Tour: From Crowd-Surfing to Dairy Queen

Explore Brad Marchand's unforgettable Stanley Cup victory tour with the Florida Panthers, from crowd-surfing to working at Dairy Queen.

Wednesday: Elbo Room, Fort Lauderdale

The Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup win in Game 6 was just the beginning of the celebrations. The team continued their festivities in the locker room and luxury suites at Amerant Bank Arena. Early Wednesday morning, the Cup made appearances on the ice for photos with friends and family. The party eventually moved to Elbo Room, a two-story dive bar near the beach in Fort Lauderdale. With news helicopters flying overhead, the team loaded beer into the Cup and poured it on the fans below. Brad Marchand, in his element, held a coffee and a vodka-based iced tea in one hand, a cigar in another, and a bottle of beer under his arm with the Stanley Cup by his knee.

Thursday: Maple & Ash, Miami

The Panthers celebrated their championship with a team dinner at Maple & Ash in Miami. Marchand took to Instagram to thank all the teams who traded, released, or allowed their players to sign with Florida. He posted photos of every teammate, mentioning their former teams, and thanked the Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets, and Columbus Blue Jackets for their contributions to the Panthers' success.

Friday (very early) morning: E11EVEN, Miami

The Panthers' party at E11EVEN in Miami was nothing short of eventful. Sam Bennett revealed his intentions to stay with the Panthers on a new contract, and there were vulgar chants directed towards Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid. Marchand crowd-surfed with the Stanley Cup while the DJ played a remix of "Pink Pony Club," Edmonton's victory celebration anthem.

Friday afternoon: Dairy Queen, Sunrise

The Panthers made a tradition of visiting Dairy Queen during their postseason run, starting in the Eastern Conference final against the Carolina Hurricanes. Marchand became the face of their collective sweet tooth, often professing his love for Dairy Queen. On Friday, he worked the counter in Sunrise, bringing out a tray of Blizzards and even performing the DQ spoon test. Dairy Queen created the one-day-only "Brad Blizzard" with cookie dough and chocolate chips.

Marchand reflected on the journey, saying, "It's incredible, the moments that you look back on, and at the time you don't appreciate what they could mean at the end of the day. The first time we went to Dairy Queen, we just wanted to walk off our dinner, and it became a huge organic moment. To the point where we met up before Game 6 because we needed the luck."

They had the luck. They have the Cup. And as Marchand showed more than anyone, they earned the party.
